What grows
after an ending
I am Kalindi Bhatia. I study — and sit with — what happens to people after something ends. My doctoral research asks how young adults rebuild after a relationship comes apart, and why some of them come out of it larger than they went in.
The thread
My undergraduate dissertation asked how young adults arrive at forgiveness. My doctorate asks how they grow after heartbreak. It is the same question with the stakes raised — what do people do with what is left after something is over — and it is the question underneath everything on this site.
What I do
Counselling
Practice opening soon
I am preparing to open a small counselling practice for young adults after relationship endings and difficult transitions. You can ask to be told when it opens.

If something has ended and you are trying to work out what comes next
I work with a small number of people at a time, which means I can give each of them real attention — and tell you honestly if I am not the right person for what you are carrying.
